Some fresh news for you all:
Sylvia will be participating in the Manic Arts 1st Birthday celebrations at the Velvet Lounge, The Flying Scotsman. Come down from 2pm on August 7th to see the work of local visual artists as well as talented musicians and cabaret acts.

On the 26th of August Sylvia will take to the stage again, hosting Lady Velvet Cabaret’s latest Graduation Show at Manhattan’s Bar.
Tickets to Lady Velvet Cabaret: Burlesque’n Through The Ages are available for $15 at the door, opening from 7.30, and the show will feature solo and group acts by Lady Velvet performers and graduates from their Burlesque Starlet, Bump n’ Mix, Dancing with Props, Cabaret Showgirl, Sexy Stiletto and Shake it Like the Sixties courses, inspired by the history of Burlesque and its incarnations through the ages – from the Victorian era to the Golden Age of Burlesque to Contemporary or Neo-Burlesque.

And coming up in November:
IDENTITY – a local artists exhibition looks set to be a vibrant and exciting event, running from the 14th to the 20th of November at a number of venues in and around Fremantle. A visual art exhibition will take place at Hole in the Wall Gallery, with other live music, cabaret and performance events taking place at venues like the Newport and the Rosemount.
